WHAT IS INSOMNIA?
It is a sleep disorder problem wherein you have trouble falling asleep. The condition may be either acute or chronic in simple short term or long term. It is generally a sleep complaint. Either you face difficulty falling asleep or you keep sleeping.

It creates a major impact in your lifestyle. It causes a chaos in your daily routine. It affects your overall performance in all walks of your life.

WHAT ARE THE CAUSES?

  • Stress
  • Taking medications 
  • Unhealthy lifestyle and diet
  • No physical activity
  • Smoking and drinking
  • Extreme caffeine consumption
  • Exposure to digital screens for long time
  • Hormonal factors

SYMPTOMS:
  • Fatigue
  • Sleeping during the day time
  • Poor/no concentration
  • Nausea
  • Headache
  • Mood swings
  • Night walk

REMEDIES:



  1. Follow a lifestyle regime.
  2. Stop overthinking.
  3. Follow the 20-20-20 rule.
  4. Read a book half an hour before sleeping.
  5. Say no to your mobile/laptop in your bedroom.
  6. Hear instrumental music.
  7. Engage yourself in a physical activity in daytime.
  8. Spray few drops of lavender essential oil on the corner of your pillow. It makes you fall asleep soon.
  9. Light scented candles in your room before sleeping.
  10. Have hot milk mixed with a pinch of turmeric powder and honey.
  11. Make it a habit to connect yourself spiritually.
