ALMONDS
Almonds are the best in nut family. They have a high nutrient value. Almonds are rich in vitamin E, minerals, protein and fiber. They contain unsaturated good fat which is healthy.

Almond is not a nut, it is a seed!! The fruit of the almond is called a drupe.
BENEFITS:
- Eating soaked almonds helps in lowering the cholesterol level.
- It gives you a shiny and healthy hair.
- Fights wrinkles.
- It gives a healthy glow to your skin.
- This is a brain food.
- Good for eyesight.
FOR HEALTH:
- Soak the Almonds overnight, peel the skin off the next day and have them in an empty stomach. Drink a glass of warn water.
- Avoid consumption in the evening as it causes bloating for some people.
- A person should intake 8 almonds per day to meet the daily protein value.
FOR SKIN:
- Soak few almonds in hot water.
- Strain the water and peel off the skin.
- Grind it into a thick paste.
- Add honey and turmeric powder to the paste.
- Mix well and apply as a pack on your face and skin.
- Wash your face after 20 minutes.
FOR HAIR:
- Take almond oil in a bowl. Heat the oil in a double boiling method.
- Take a small cotton ball, dip it in the warm oil and massage it in your scalp.
- Wait for 1 hour, rinse your hair and apply conditioner.
